“Girl With No Face”

I have used this image as my logo because it embodies me in another time, when I was trying to find out who I was and to remind me just how far I have come!

If you have noticed I like strong images! I also like to paint strong images but one problem I have is faces, for some reason my artistic block prevented me from creating a face, not for the want of trying I have to say, but all failed attempts were disfigured in my eyes.  This is because I felt disfigured within myself, not good enough to be recognised. It was after a failed marriage and my self esteem had dropped to an all time low. I eventually broke through that with determination and perseverance…which you will see in “Sleeping Angel” another one of my paintings and the irony that went with it! lol
