Up until Oct 2009 I had never been further north than the Watford gap. Sad really but I had never had a reason. Then I met a man who brought much joy into my life and showed me a whole new part of England. I saw the most wonderful open, some times rugged landscapes and historic places and soaked it all up. I love North Yorkshire for it's stunning natural beauty as well as it's fabulously real folk.
